The Loy Krathong Edition

Big Peat has travelled across the globe on his World Tour to celebrate Loy Krathong with his friends in Thailand. Loy Krathong, also known as Thailand's light festival, takes place on the 12th month of the traditional Thai lunar calendar. Big Peat has gathered with his friends at the lake to release a beautiful lotus raft to honour the Goddess of Water.

The 49th Parallel Edition

Big Peat has travelled to Canada as part of his 2023 World Tour to catch up with his friends across the pond. Exclusively bottled at 49% alcohol to reflect the 49th Parallel. Expect notes of bonfire smoke and ash, alongside sweet peat and coal dust.

The Highland Games Edition

Big Peat is ready to toss his caper at The Highland Games, taking part in the fun and soaking up the atmosphere. Especially selected for whiskydevil.de, in this edition you can expect classic coastal notes, with a savoury and salty finish.

The Tyndrum Gold Edition

Big Peat has ventured to the idyllic village of Tyndrum, Scotland, on his World Tour. As Big Peat end his shift he enjoys a dram to reward himself.

The Vienna Edition

In 2018, Big Peat’s World Tour took him to Vienna! This limited edition of 100 bottles was produced at a natural cask strength of 55.1%, resulting a remarkably mouth-coating, amplified peaty character. The unique label shows Peat pictured outside the stunning Vienna City Hall.


 

The Hamburg Edition​

Travelling across Europe, Big Peat landed in Hamburg early 2019. There are 189 700ml bottles of this expression. At 48% abv and fresh, salty notes, reminiscent of the scent of the Elbe running through Hamburg, this particular bottle is definitely one to get your hands on.

The Asaya Edition #1

Big Peat’s World Tour has taken him to Chichibu, where he visits his favourite Liquor Store – ASAYA – and enjoys shopping for some new Remarkable Malts. He wears his navy apron (Maekake) in homage to the iconic store’s uniform, and has his picture taken to remember the experience.

The Bak-Kut-Teh Edition

For this exclusive Limited Edition, Big Peat has harvested the finest Single Casks that Islay has to offer, ready for the people of Malaysia to enjoy alongside a hearty bowl of Bak-kuh-teh. This bold and smoky Big Peat expression is one not to be missed!

The Bar Mitzvah Edition

Big Peat is celebrating the Bar Mitzvah Ceremony tradition in this special bottling of his World Tour Series. Bottled exclusively at 50% alcohol by volume, and with only 313 bottles available, in this edition you can expect notes of brine, Hebridean sea salt, peated malt and a lingering ash on the finish.

The Bar Monroe Edition

Big Peat is visiting his friends at Bar Monroe and enjoying a dram of his iconic Islay malt. In this special edition of Big Peat's World Tour, expect a serious amount of smokiness and notes of bonfire embers, alongside grilled meats fresh from the BBQ.

Exclusively for and in creative collaboration with Whisky.de and matured in a sherry cask, Big Peat is rocking through Germany again on his tour. Catching up with friends all over he is delighted to be back with so many of his fans. With a Sherry finish, expect sweet and phenolic notes alongside damp earth, cocoa, tar and fried seaweed.

The Stad & Ommeland Edition

With only 180 bottles of this exclusive World Tour bottling, Big Peat is sure his friends in the Netherlands will love it. Bottled exclusively at 50% ABV, expect notes of bonfire ash, coal dust and Islay peat. 

The Sakura Edition

Big Peat has taken his World Tour back to Japan to view the magnificent cherry blossom, Sakura. Exclusive to Yamaichi, this limited edition bottling has hints of rock pools, tarry ropes, ash and roasted peat.

The Sofia Edition

Big Peat is visiting his friends in Sofia, Bulgaria with a peaty dram in hand to celebrate his trip. Full of phenolic quality, with notes of sweet summer tar, tangy liquorice and Hebridean sea air.

The Steiermark Editon

Big Peat's World Tour sees him travel to the state of Steiermark in Austria. Visiting the Uhrturm Clock Tower and sporting a traditional outfit, he takes in the sites with a dram in hand.

The Vatertag #2 Edition

Big Peat is back in Germany to celebrate Vatertag (Father's Day) with a dram in hand. Bottled at 48% ABV, this special bottling of his World Tour contains a big phenolic hit with burnt toast, medicinal peat and spiced oak.

Big Peat's latest special edition sees our Islay hero travelling through Japan taking in the sights, immersing himself in local culture as he sees famous landmarks and breathtaking scenery. Specially designed by Mr. Yuki Azuma, who was inspired by the beautiful landscapes throughout the four seasons in Japan.

The Rugby Edition
