SMOKY SOUR

Enjoy the Islay character of Big Peat as he imparts a deep, smoky charm on a classic Whisky Sour!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 50ml Big Peat Islay Malt
  • 25ml fresh lemon juice
  • 25ml sugar syrup
  • A few dashes of your favourite bitters
  • One egg white
  • Garnish: Dehydrated lemon wheel or maraschino cherry

METHOD:

  1. Add Big Peat, lemon juice, sugar syrup, bitters and egg white into a shaker and shake vigorously
  2. Add cubed ice and shake again until chilled
  3. Strain into a chilled rocks glass
  4. Garnish with a dehydrated lemon wheel or maraschino cherry

ESPRESSO MARTINI

Pack a sweet punch of peat into your next Espresso Martini for a smoky coffee serve!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 50ml Big Peat Islay Malt
  • 25ml freshly brewed espresso coffee
  • 25ml premium coffee liqueur
  • 1 tbsp sugar syrup
  • Garnish: Coffee Beans

METHOD:

  1. Fill a shaker with ice then add 50ml Big Peat, 25ml espresso coffee, 25ml coffee liqueur, 1 tbsp sugar syrup.
  2. Shake vigourously until cold then double strain into a martini glass.
  3. Garnish with 3 coffee beans and serve!
