Douglas Laing’s Big Peat is a feisty Islay character with a sweet side. This is a small batch bottling, without colouring or chill-filtration and only contains Islay Malt Whiskies, including Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and (even the elusive) Port Ellen, to name but a few!

Archetypally Islay, Big Peat 12 Years Old delivers charred oak, chimney smoke, rock pools and summer tar, running to a long lingering finish with brown sugar, bonfire ashes and a real phenolic quality. Proudly bottled at 46% ABV and offered without colouring or chill-filtration, it’s the ultimate distillation of Islay.
